2. Placement Drive for Internship

Guru Nanak College, Moga’s Training and Placement Cell plays a proactive role in securing internships for students. The cell routinely circulates internship offers and equips students with essential employability skills through workshops, mock interviews, group discussions, and personality development sessions. Additionally, enriches this ecosystem by leveraging MOUs with industry partners, facilitating structured internship training opportunities, and offering specialized skill-development.

3. Seminar on CSR

Placement Cell of Guru Nanak College, Moga, hosted a seminar to inform students about the CSR courses offered by Microsoft and IBM. A team from PSDM, Moga, was present to answer student questions and guide them through the registration process. It encourages students to learn soft skills provided by various platforms to enhaces students productivity.

4. CSAT Awareness Lecture

Guru Nanak College, Moga, recently hosted an awareness lecture on the Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) as part of its mission to bolster students’ competitive preparation initiatives. Organized under the auspices of its Training and Placement Cell, the lecture introduced CSAT’s structure, syllabus, and scoring system, while spotlighting strategies for effective preparation. Presenters guided students through question formats such as comprehension and reasoning, shared study resources. This initiative complemented the college’s ongoing efforts to empower learners through skill-building sessions, competitive exam guidance, and access to curated e-resources.

4.Personality Development & Employability Training Programme

The 6-Day Personality Development & Employability Training Programme organized at Guru Nank College from 0ct 17,2025 to oct 22,2025 proved to be a significant step toward enhancing students’ career readiness. The dedication of the organizers, facilitators, and students made this initiative a great success. The workshop conclude with a certificate distribution ceremony, acknowledging the efforts of participants and trainers alike. Such initiatives reflect the commitment of Guru Nanak College, Moga to holistic education, ensuring that students are well-prepared for professional challenges and opportunities beyond academics.

5. Mock Interview for Mega Job Fest 2025

A successful mock interview session has been organized at Guru Nanak College, Moga on March 3,2025. This session aims at preparing students for real interviews that they have to face when they will go for a job in future. 25 students took part in this session enthusiastically. Designed to replicate real-life hiring scenarios, the session featured panels consisting of senior faculty and invited industry professionals. Students rotated through structured interview rounds, receiving personalized feedback on their communication, posture, response clarity, and overall confidence. The initiative not only helped students reduce performance anxiety but also sharpened their competence in presenting themselves effectively—a powerful boost to their job-seeking journey aligned with the college’s mission to bridge academic learning and career readiness.

6. Psychology Lecture before Mega Job Fair

At Guru Nanak College, Moga, the Training and Placement Cell  scheduled expert-led lectures just before major events like the Mega Job Fair to sharpen students’ soft skills and mindset. It helps students manage interview anxiety, building resilience, understanding cognitive biases during assessments, and applying motivational strategies to stay composed under pressure. The session blend theory with interactive activities—like mindfulness exercises and real-time reflection prompts—to cultivate emotional intelligence and mental agility. This approach would seamlessly complement the college’s broader goal of holistic career readiness, enhancing students’ confidence and psychological preparedness as they step into competitive environments.

7. Mission 100- Free CAT Coaching for Female Gradutes

On March 25th, the Placement Cell and IQAC Cell of Guru Nanak College, Moga, organized a workshop on Mission 100- a free CAT coaching initiative for female graduates. The objective of the workshop was to provide in depth- knowledge about the initiative, encourages students to register, and resolve their queries regarding the test and its benefits. The workshop proved to be highly beneficial for the students, especially female participants, as it provided them with clear understanding of the Mission 100 test and its significance. The interactive session ensured that all concerns were addressed, and many students successfully completed their registration by the end of the workshop. Overall, the event was a great success, marking another milestone in the college’s commitment to student empowerment, career development, and academic excellence.
